There's a great meme out there for Happy Indigenous Peoples Day showing Aztecs sacrificing helpless men, women, and children that I thought of posting, but decided not to. Just as not all Western Civilization is imperialistic evil, not all indigenous culture is the source and summit of goodness. I kinda think it's a good thing the ritual practice of human sacrifice got stamped out in the Americas by the Spanish conquistadors.
