As a young man
Albert Einstein worked several years in the Swiss Patent Office, where his main
duty was to examine patent applications for various mechanical devices. Still struggling with his dissertations and
finding a permanent teaching position, he was able to spend his work days deep
in thought, pondering the profound questions from which he would revolutionize
physics, science, philosophy, and the world.
What a lucky
man!
I had my Swiss
Patent Office too as a young man and wasted my nights on the electric guitar
and beer.
O for a second
chance!
Second Swiss
Patent Office, where are you?!
