If Donald Trump had issued an executive order back on
March 20 labeling Mass as “non-essential” and forbidding attendance at masses
during the pandemic, would the Church be clamoring over itself right now screaming
for the right to “open up our masses”?
I’m not sure I know how to answer that question.
